I don't want a pristine, even sterile, Flickr account so you will see a lot of photos that journal my life that do not always qualify as being all that great technically or compositionally. Life is TOO fun to only chase perfection. :)

I got "hooked" into photography via my good friend Adam and I am grateful for all his encouragement, shared wealth of knowledge and expertise. I have a Canon 6D and a few lenses, and I cannot imagine ever being able to bring out all the potential this amazing camera has. It's a humbling gift to be able to use this camera and to know if the photo is poor, it is not the camera's fault. My biggest weakness is my technical skills in taking photos and my strength is a deep desire to capture a moment of life, time and experience. Images speak to my soul and there is something about the process of trying to capture what your soul is seeing and convey it in a photo that has me forever hooked.
