I was a photojournalist in leading Chinese newspapers for 15 years before moving to Australia in 2005.During my 15 years career, I took photos across around china, witnessed and recorded rapidly changing China between 1990 to 2005. I was awarded as one of the top ten photojournalists in China in 2000 while several photos claimed the top prize of press photos competition.

 

I moved to Australia in 2005 and studied in The Arts College of University of Sydney. In 2008 I graduated with Master Degree of documentary of photography. I became Australian citizen in 2009.

 

During this period of time, I worked as a photo reporter and editor in a Chinese-language magazine which is based in Sydney. Four solo photo exhibitions have been held in Sydney in the last 5 years, including Buddhism in Sydney, which is a ongoing project supported by Buddhist council of NSW.

 

Buddhism in Australia is my currently project . Other project: children with disabilities also undergoing.
