Bought my first SLR (Praktika MTL5) in 1983 using my student grant. Those were the days!
Changed to a basic auto-focus Canon SLR in 1995, but it was so basic and non-descript that I don't remember the model number.
Digital arrived in 2001 with a Fuji FinePix 2800 Zoom - a SLR like compact with a decent optical lens.
2005 saw an upgrade with the purchase of a DSLR Canon 350D. Its still going strong, apart from a bent pin in the Compact Flash connector (daren't risk changing the card)
I now use a Canon 760D purchased in 2017.
I didn't believe in post-processing my photographs. All the pictures prior to March 2018 here are straight from the camera or in the case of the older film pictures, straight from the scanner.
In March 2018 I subscribed to Adobe's Creative Cloud and have loads of new toys to play with!
