Hmmmmm, never really know what to say about myself.:-).

I would see my self as an approachable person(i'd hope so anyway), who has the organisation of a Turtle, and the carisma of a Penguin..

Anyway, I am coming up to 19 and am working towards (and completing) a foundation degree in Communications and Media or a National Cert. in Art and Design to go on and study a BA in Wildlife and Media(both at the University of Cumbria(fingers crossed)).

In order to become either a freelance photographer or working as a photographer for an international company(as i would like to travel the world) so the BBC would be a wonderful option for me.

I can not really describe how much i enjoy photography, the best thing that I never really saw it as a future career as I always had this idea that jobs are not there to be enjoyed, but if you can, then it is something to consider.

So for a long time I have looked elsewhere for a career but always draw back to photography. Then on Friday 30th May 2008 i had arranged to go on a proffesional shoot at a wedding, it turns out you can choose this as a career, the best part being that it is so enjoyable, rewarding and atmospheric.

I would never say I have been waiting for this all my life but if I had been it would have been well worth the wait. Just hope that i can actually be succesful at this and get it right:-).

Other than photography I have a part time job in the local supermarket as an evening supervisor and am spending large amounts of my time revising for my exams.
