Michael Okraj lives and works in Berlin. At least, most of the time. Being a true explorer at heart, he can‘t really stay still and so, he travels – between countries, nationalities and the multiple facets of his career, constantly pushing the boundaries of accepted standards in design.

Michael Okraj started working as a graphic-designer in 2002, quickly gaining expertise in all fields of classical and digital media. He founded DESIGNERDEUTSCH, his own design-studio in 2003, and to this day is the editor-in-chief of DESIGNKRITIK, the first German internet-platform dedicated to design-theory.
