Dr. Michael J. O'Connell, PainCare, New Hampshire, has led an extensive career of almost three decades as a physician, businessman, entrepreneur, and philanthropist. Currently taking on an administrative role as the owner and Chief Executive Officer of PainCare Centers, Inc., Dr. Michael J. O’Connell is responsible for a staff of medical professionals who dedicate their time to helping patients manage their pain. Servicing a large part of the state of New Hampshire, PainCare operates twelve offices. Dr. O'Connell's PainCare Centers bring a strong history of success stories from patients who announce having life-changing experiences as a result of seeking relief from pain. Whether an individual is dealing with chronic pain as a result of a long-term condition or has undergone a recent injury, PainCare has a proven track record of helping people manage their pain.

Dr. O’Connell provides a new patient coordinator for first time consultations in order to streamline the process of obtaining medical records and evaluating important information, including a comprehensive list of current or past medications and treatments, lab results, and insurance benefits check. The talented team of professionals at PainCare includes physicians, physician assistants, advanced practice registered nurses, and certified registered nurse anesthetists that are well trained to provide the most comfortable and effective medical care possible. For over 25 years, Dr. O’Connell practiced pain management continuously, though now devotes all his time administrating the network of PainCare Centers throughout New Hampshire. In addition to earning his BS in Biochemistry from the University of New Hampshire, and his Medical Degree from Dartmouth, Dr. Michael O’Connell completed a Masters in Healthcare Administration from the University of New Hampshire. Living an active lifestyle, Dr. O’Connell enjoys many outdoor activities, including rock climbing, snowboarding, hiking, and golf.
