Hello to everyone that comes across my flickr page.

My name is Laura, someone who loves photography greatly after being brought up with it all of my life with many thanks to my dad as he loved photography also, alas suffering with dementia he has lost all interest as he goes down hill. So everytime I take a picture, I remember the great times we had being out and all taking pictures together.

Here you will see a mix of genres, railways, wildlife, abstract and other subjects as they catch my eye. Always great to have a diverse interest! I admire those that have one specific interest, but that is not for me lol, I'm always on the look out to capture as many moments and memories as possible.

I am wheelchair bound unable to stand or walk for the last 20 months as I update this on the December 1st 2025.

Functional Neurological Disorder is the culprit. Photography helps my mental state, taking each day as it comes as my health has really made it hard to cope.
