I am a run-of-the-mill, middle-aged guy living with my partner and Airedale Terrier in Springfield (Delaware County), Pennsylvania

I enjoy attempts at playing the autoharp and the Appalachian Dulcimer, playing the fife, doing genealogical research and collecting antiques. I primarily collect pre-Victorian Staffordshire figures having a classical or mythological theme, however I also have a small collection of portrait miniatures. I also enjoy reading about American history, religion, politics, and folklore.

I am a member of several local historical societies and am also a member of few lineage societies such as the Sons of the American Revolution, The General Society of the War of 1812 and The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

I very much support issues such as maintaining the separation of church and state, civil liberties, GLBT rights, historical preservation and environmental protection.
