My first SLR camera was a Pentax MX, which I learnt alot about the basics of photography from and is great film camera. Will notice that I've used a few camera systems. I first started DSLR with the Nikon D40x. Great camera for its time and learnt loads. I then progressed onto Pentax with various models K20 and K5. I wasn't happy with the Pentax system for several reason namely AF speed and lens availability. So I looked long and hard and decided to go with the Canon system. I spent 6 months with the canon but decided i just don't like it and its too different and clunky for how i work. So I am now the proud owner of a Nikon D7000. So its kind of a full circle. I've gone back to Nikon and must say I really like it and see myself staying here for a while to come. ;-)
