"We don't remember days, we remember moments." These words best describe why I am a photograper.

People ask me what I like to photograph. My answer is generally people, places, things, ideas, and animals-- especially birds and horses. I guess I better add cars (our modern Horses) to the list since I find myself spending an increasing amount of time shooting them as of late. Northern Virginia's byways and roads are a favorite of the Automotive Press, so I think horses meets horsepower may be relevant. I hope you enjoy my images offered here for your review-- and hopefully enjoyment.

At the end of the day, I love lines and curves and characters of the inhabitants of our planet-- man, animal, plants and earth. I love textures and variety. I love history and innovation, and I love personal expressions (many, not all) of souls, architectures, interiors and style, and all that that encompasses. Maybe most of all, I love the interim milestones of photography and me very limited ability to be a part of it and the celebration of so many who take it to higher and higher forms of the art that it is.

Over the years, I've traveled extensively throughout the United States and beyond. I hope to cover all 50 states, as well as many other destinations abroad. BTW, did I mention I generally shoot Nikon? Well guess what, I now shoot Fuji X-Series primarily as of 2017, though I maintain my Nikon fleet so far. Fuji's XF lenses and X-series bodies are simply fantastic! My Nikons are all about mood and feel associated with Nikon-- at least in my mind and eye. I love them both.
