Black-and-white photographer based in Prague, Czechia.

I photograph the ordinary things we walk past every day — a staircase, an old window, a peeling wall. What draws me in are lines, shapes, surfaces and light: the moment when an everyday object becomes a picture. Often I also find traces of time in them — flaking paint, snow on a windowsill, a word someone sprayed on a wall long ago.

I started on film, and film still shapes how I see: look first, then press the shutter. Today I shoot digitally and finish every image in black and white.

Photography means drawing with light. I try to draw with as few lines as possible.

Cameras change. The soul of photography doesn't.
