Hi! My name's Micah and I'm a wedding, portrait and lifestyle photographer. I love to adventure with my incredibly awesome friends and chances are if you've met me then you know I'm the guy who always has his camera with him, trying to document everything. I have a very photojournalistic style and candid approach to the way I shoot, I aim to capture scenes with sincerity and respect to the moments as they happened. Though, as they say, every portrait is a self-portrait. I live by the decisive moment, the love of light, lines and reflections, and getting it right in camera. I also love to experiment with alternative ways of shooting; placing objects around the lens to warp light, holding old lenses in front of my camera body to create bent focus planes, shooting very close up photos of people to stitch together panoramic portraits with incredibly shallow depth of field, finding reflections for interesting compositions, painting with light, shooting underwater, etc. You lose all the fun when you rely on Photoshop! :]
