OK, since I have been asked. Here goes. I have 14 years of photojournalism experience including the beginnings of digital cameras. This is when I learned photoshop. I have had training in art, graphic design, and photography....a long time ago. Lately I have been in IT. I have recently embraced photography again and the different techniques that have come about since I left the profession. Light painting with a spot light and new photoshop adventures have kept my creative juices going lately. As a journalist it was not a good thing to "improve" photos so to be able to do it now is a lot of fun. I hope you like what you see. Feel free to comment and make suggestions.

UPDATE: I have moved a lot of the snapshot photos to www.flickr.com/photos/mhpaceflickr to clean up this username. I am going to try to keep this account going with the best shots.
