This is the repository for the Model Horse Club of Canada online photo show. This photo show is for MODEL HORSE COLLECTIBLES ONLY (not for real horses).

The MHCC Online Photo Show has 6 divisions, broken down as follows:

DIV A: OF PLASTICS, Trad/Cl scale

All original finish plastics, traditional to classic size. No mini’s.

- Includes Breyer, Peter Stone, Hartland, Blue Ribbon, Marx horses, etc.

- Includes Breyer Connoisseur, Collector's Club, JAH s/r’s, OOAK Breyerfest auction models, etc.

- Includes P. Stone factory customs, auction models, OOAK, DAH, You-Call-It, etc; as produced at the P. Stone factory in Shipshewana.

DIV B: OF MINI PLASTICS

- Includes original finish Breyer Little Bits™, Paddock Pals™, stablemates™, micro mini’s & other mini plastics of similar scale.

- Includes original finish Peter Stone Pebbles™ & Chips™ (including factory customs, OOAK, etc) as produced at the Peter Stone factory in Shipshewana.

- Includes all other OF mini plastics (CollectA, Hartland, Schleich, Papo, etc).

DIV C: OF CHINA & COMMERCIAL RESIN - ALL SIZES

- Includes all OF china, custom glazed china, porcelain, bisque, cold-cast resin, commercially factory produced resins, and other OF porcelain-like, china-like, & resin-like models, all sizes - including mini’s

- Includes Breyer resins, Breyer porcelain stablemates™, Black Horse Ranch, North Light, American Artist, Country Artist, Enesco, Sandicast, Starlite Originals, Hagen Renaker, etc.

DIV D: ARTIST RESIN & CUSTOMIZED, Trad/Cl

- Includes artist resins and customized models, traditional to classic size, NO MINI’S

An ARTIST RESIN is defined as a casting of a work by an artist, usually in limited numbers, finished & hand-painted by the original sculpting artist, or by someone else.

A CUSTOMIZED model is defined as created by altering an OF factory/commercial release model; whether it be plastic, factory/commercial resin, cold-painted china/porcelain, or any other OF material. Any alteration from the original factory finish means a model is customized. A custom model may be a repaint (with or without added hair or with a resculpted mane and tail), repositioned, have body parts resculpted, replaced, or grafted onto other models, or be created from two or more OF models.

DIV E: AR (artist resins) & CM (customized) MINI’S

- Includes curio scale sizes.

- Includes micro-mini sizes.

- Includes customized Little Bits™, Paddock Pals™, Stablemates, Pebbles, Chips, etc.

DIV OP: OPEN PERFORMANCE

Performance division – open to all makes & finishes and sizes. All performance entries require a caption (description) of what the horse is doing.
