I am a writer and photographer living in Minneapolis, MN, with my wife and twin sons, Jack and Peter. I am interested in old cameras--not as a collector, but as an active user. There's something wonderfully tactile about the sounds and smells and feel of an old Argus or Brownie or FED, and the quirks of each camera force the photographer to work around the limitations and special characteristics of the tool.
