I have always loved taking photos. As a child, I would always ask my parents to let me use the camera. Then in high school, I took a photography class which, while really helping to develop my technical skill as a photographer, led me to lose much of my passion for art in general. I put down the camera for a few months, and even when I started taking pictures of my new life at UC San Diego, I still did not feel much inspiration. After half a year, I found myself driving through my hometown, with the mountains covered in snow and topped with windmills. I had never appreciated how beautiful my town was until I saw God's majesty in that moment. I took out my camera, attempting to capture a fraction of the beauty I saw, and from that moment on, I have always kept a camera with me to document where I see God in my life.
