I am an outdoors and nature person, a science geek, who has been into seeing nature in creative ways for a long time. I discovered my knack for photography just out of high school while coming west with my first camera - a small manual film model. After years of using fairly inexpensive (and even bad) equipment, I finally took the plunge into quality digital a few years ago and got the gear I need to make great images. I still occasionally use my Pentax K1000 just for kicks, the night sky, etc. My next project is to get good with video using my DSLR. I hope you enjoy my photography.
