I have always been fascinated with photography. When I was a kid, my dad took a few years off of work to race boats in the Southern Drag Boat Association. Because of this, I got to see some neat places. I remember having a toy (I think it was a replica 6 million dollar man or a GI Joe) where I could look thru the back of his head thru a hole that acted as his eye. It would act as a magnifying glass. I remember having great anticipation waiting to hear his number and boat name called over the loud speaker as next to run. I would get my toy ready to watch him thru the eye of my 6 million dollar man and imagine I was taking pictures of my hero “Tennessee Lightning”.

As years passed, I got into graphic design and website development. One day while doing some research, I came across an article for HDR processing. I was intrigued with the post process and it sparked my interest to learn more about photography. In Jan. of 2010 I purchased my first dslr. (Canon T1i)

Since then I have been taking pictures and trying to learn as much about my camera and techniques as possible. From camera settings, lenses, post processing, I have found a great outlet to feed my creativity hunger.

MeshPoint despite his limited amount of time in taking pictures has a great eye; catching just the right angle for his shots. This very well could be due to his design background. Don't let his limited experience in taking shots fool you, he's pretty darn sound in his execution. But to be honestly his processing sets him apart for me. His HDR work is truly astounding. If you've not checked out his HDR work you owe it to yourself to give a look or two or three; I know I did!
