I don't know how I made the journey to Michelle's stream but once I did I found myself mesmerized by her 365 last year. She had just finished it or was very close and I spend a very long time looking through every one of those days. I was overwhelmed by many things but the one overriding sense was that she can take the most ordinary things and make them magical. She has an amazing eye for composition and light. She sees magic in simple things. I love the way she looks at the world around her and I am blessed to have her offer her wonderful comments and perspective on my images. Her kindness and sweet spirit shine! Thanks for all you have taught me and for inspiring and encouraging me on my own 365 journey!

Meshl has given me more than she knows: interesting comments on my photostream, which show a rare level of thoughtfulness and insight, and more important, a continual stream of her own intuitive and beautiful photos. She is a photographer who takes her time, who observes the world, and who does not settle for the easy shot. Her photos reveal unusual perspectives and new ways of seeing the world, not splashily, but profoundly. Plus, she has the ability to make me laugh out loud with her dry wit. I'm glad to know she is only halfway through her 365 project, since I'm assured of at least 183 more days of her take on the world.
