An international traveler before I was even born (my mother travelled from the US to Europe when I was five months along), I was practically born with a map in one hand and a guide book in the other. The first trips I really remember were ski trips to Vermont, and a family road trip to Florida when I was six. Later, family trips and personal travel took me across the country and around the world.

I still love travel as often as I can - exploring new places and getting to identify new spots on the map. There's still an awful lot of the world to discover... and I like to take pictures of it and write about it along the way.

I am VERY HAPPY to discuss using my photography for commercial sites, articles, etc. That is flattering and I thank you for the interest in my work!

However... if I find you have taken my work and attempted to pass it off as your own, I WILL have something to say about it. Just because something is out there floating in the ether of the internet doesn't mean it is free to take and use or that you can sell somebody else's work. PLEASE check what rights I've set on any given photograph.

(I state this clearly because I have had friends who have found their work posted under somebody else's Flickr name with the 2nd party attempting to pass off the photography as their own; etc.)
