Will Seaman and John Kiernan form the unique creative partnership that is merton design which has been providing a superior garden and interior design service for private and commercial clients since 2003.

Our philosophy is to create spaces that are full of personality and have lots of well thought out design solutions.

We apply the same creative approach to gardens and interiors. It is of no difference to us whether it’s indoors or out, rooftop or balcony, large garden or spare bedroom, our design ethos is evident in every project we complete.

Compulsively creative, we thrive on creating beautiful spaces that reflect and enhance the lives of our clients. Almost everything in our world is thoughtfully realised and ideas percolate through our design process and are transformed into inspirational gardens and beautiful indoor spaces.

Will and John were both previously involved in fashion before concentrating on garden and interior design. Will worked as a fashion buyer with the Brown Thomas group and alongside John Rocha on the menswear and export ranges. John has a background in fashion design and furnishings, having studied at the Grafton Academy and has a Marketing degree to boot.

Our work to date has grabbed the attention of both the Irish and International media and has been regularly featured in The Irish Times, The Irish Independent, Sunday Tribune and glossy lifestyle magazines: House and Home, Property Ladder (UK) and Real Homes (UK). merton design has an impressive back catalogue of outdoor gardens and interior projects.
