My name is Simon and I live in the county of Berkshire, England. I have been interested in photography since the early 1970's. My first camera was a Russian Zenith E, basic but very rugged, followed by an upgrade in 1991 to a Minolta X9. This served me well until changing to digital in 2005 with the purchase of a Canon EOS 350D. I sold that in November 2009 and upgraded to a Canon EOS 7D. This has now been replaced by a Canon EOS 7D MkII. We also have a Canon SX510 digital compact which serves as a capable backup.
