Please feel free to comment on my photos if you like them or want to know something. Just keep it clean as this is a family show.
I am rumblemumbles dad which is her flickr name, but she isn't active anymore.

Just replace URL with the webaddress and replace TEXT with your word/s in the hyperlink. You can use it in the middle of a sentence.
My Flickr policies are basic.
GROUPS
I limit my group activity as it is time consuming.
I dislike bling and flashing lights in comments.
I don't normally add an invited photo outside my few groups and especially don't add them to a group requiring mumtiple awards in return.
I would prefer to get a normal comment than a rubber stamp group comment anyday, but I understand that people are busy and it at least supports my membership to a group so I know it is worthwhile.
CONTACTS
I struggle to support contact numbers greater than about 60. Flickr should not be a drain on our time, but an enjoyable time.
If I make you a contact, you get Friend status at first, and if you don't interact with me within a reasonable timeframe, you get demoted to the Contact status.
I only look at photos on contacts with Friend or Family status.
If you add me as a contact and when I check your profile you have added lots more since me, then I assume you are a hunter and not a farmer. Hunters look for new people presumably to get lots of feedback yet never getting to know the people.
Farmers improve the contact farm they already have and occasionally plant some new crop.
I don't add hunters.
GENERAL
If you are a Friend of mine, be aware that I am a bit satyrical and like a laugh. I don't take photography too seriously as it is a hobby and not a career.
I like using Photoshop as it is stimulating and challenging. If editied images upset you, you should go elsewhere.
I like to build relationships with people, as the world is an interesting place. I have met many of my contacts in my occasional global travels, and never met a bad one yet.
FINALLY
I understand peoples priorities and lives change over time, and so some come and go for all sorts of reasons. If we lose touch and you return, I am good with that.

Any one that takes the time to view Jims shots won't take long to realise his great sense of humour and attitiude towards the world. He welcomed me aboard the flickr bandwagon and has been one of the most encouraging flickr members over my first year, as I make my way forwards in this ever changing art form. His daily shots can also be highly informative and commentate on life as it rolls past his eyes... don't just take my word for it, have a look, and enjoy!

Jim, I just wanted to tell you how much I have appreciated your friendship on Flickr and beyond. You are a very talented photographer and also a real talent with photoshop and other photo tools. Unlike many, you are willing to share what you know and offer help on getting the best out of a photo. To me that is the sign of a great person. Your love of your family is a good reminder to me to love mine that much more. Thank you so much Jim, you really make Flickr a much better place. Dan

I love Jim's humor probably as much as his photography. I can always look forward to a witty or dry comment on my own photos as well as appreciation and support. from Jim. That said, Jim's is a very good photographer and seems to have found his calling in macros. His underwater pictures from Guam are fabulous glimpses into the underwater world and his latest flower collection is just beautiful! Jim gets the whole family involved in his photos and they are collectors of very interesting things, so his photos are never predictable and I love that. Jim's halfway around the world from me but I feel like he lives just around the corner. Mrs. Mail, you've got a good one, and Rumblemumbles, you have a pretty cool dad!
