I impulse-bought my first camera -- a hot pink point and shoot -- in the Darwin airport on my way to Vietnam, documenting my travels in one off-kilter snapshot after the other (with exactly one remaining on display) until eventually the Gobi Desert proved too much for it. Years later, living in Southern China, I decided to give photography another go when I stumbled across a camera store in the maze of malls spread across the city and thought that their DSLRs "looked cool".

 

I'm now based out of Seattle, Washington, where I photograph my corner of the city and travel when I can.
