Hi there!

My name's Guille and I'm Spanish. I bought my first DSLR (a Nikon D60) in April 2009! I just love it.

I'm very passionate about photography (as so are most in here) and I love to learn and to check my improvement on every picture I take. Realizing I'm improving my skills both as a photographer and as a photoshoper makes me really happy.

Why do I take pictures?

1. To make somebody happy (photoshoot with friends and family).

2. To tell a story (as I did while in Indonesia).

3. To flirt (a camera can be a powerful seduction tool).

That's why I can't see myself taking pictures just for money. Which doesn't mean I wouldn't do it...

I really hate the paparazzi-style photography (= taking pictures with a bunch of other annoying photographers of someone who doesn't want to be photographed). I like to take my time... relax... and shoot.

There's not much else I can say, you better have a look at my pictures.

About comments:

I don't spend that much time on flickr, so, I don't comment that many people. When I leave a comment, it's always honest. Don't expect "cool!" or "nice pic!" from me. I usually take my time to write the comment so it can be as useful as possible to the photographer whose photo I'm commenting. Obviously, I expect the same from you. I'm just intersted in meaningful comments and criticism that helps me grow as a photographer.

Here's the thing: getting commented 100 or 200 times doesn't make you a good photographer. It's just you are a good networker.

About Favs:

I don't usually fav pictures. I just fav those which are really outstanding. Also, I usually fav photos where the setup or strobist are described. To put it simple, the pictures I fav are pictures that I would like to be able to take some day.

About Testimonials:

I don't usually write testimonials, either. I just do it to the photographers who really take part in my flickr-life, and after a long time of flickr-friendship.

¡Hola!

Soy Guille y vivo en España. Compré mi primera DSLR (una Nikon D60) en Abril del 2009 y desde entonces he ido aprendiendo poco a poco pero con mucho interés, hasta que la fotografía se ha convertido en mi hobby más importante en este momento.

No me cuesta invertir dinero en esto porque ver una foto mejor que la anterior amortiza cualquier inversión previa.
