For over 5 decades, MEND - Meet Each Need with Dignity, has been a lifeline for the most vulnerable families, individuals, and seniors in the San Fernando Valley, providing services rooted in dignity and respect. What began in a humble Valley garage has grown into a cornerstone of the northeast Valley community, supporting over 30,000 unique individuals annually with crisis services and long-term intensive case management.

The people who come through our doors are often low-income, and many are homeless or on the brink of it. Our largest service is the Community Nourishment Programs that include a Food Bank, Food Pantry, Buen Provecho Farmer’s Market, & Little Health Market, and distribute enough food for almost 3 million meals every year.
