Born August 17, 1952 Year of the Dragon, Sign of Leo.

Began drawing at an early age. Decided to become an artist in 1960 when I was eight.

I paint, draw, blow glass, make assemblages. I work in oil, acrylic , ink, enamels and mixed media. I have worked in stained glass, art glass and neon design.

Prior to studying glass art in universities, I apprenticed under Louis Curiel. His Omaha studio produced Hand blown glass, art glass and stained glass windows, and hand rolled colored sheet glass.

I studied glassblowing at the university of Minnesota, Pilchuck Glass School, and Ohio State.

I have two sons Joel, a linguist, and Gordon who works for and antique firm in Omaha. Gordon is also an avid collector of art ant antiques.

My painting styles range from formal portraiture, to Surreal, to total abstraction, as do my drawings.

I have sculpted in terra cotta, stoneware, cut and welded iron and steel and assembled and modified objects. I make collages and simple digital images, besides doing low tech video and out door photography.
