Gleb Simonov is a poet and photographer, born in Moscow and currently based in New York. “Vybrannoi Vetki”, his debut poetry collection, was published in 2017 by AGRO-RISK in Moscow. His poetry has been recognized by the Debut Prize (2010, 2012), and appeared in major Russophone literary journals, such as Vozdukh, Translit and Flagi. In addition to poetry, he is an author of “Sentences on Landscape”, a series of fragmented writing on the ontology of land.

He is a winner of Urbanautica (2021), Analog Sparks (2023) and Feature Shoot (2024) photography awards, and his photographs have been featured at The Guardian, Petapixel, Panorama.pm, MAP6, Phases Magazine, AINT—BAD and other publications.

Additionally, is the founder and curator of the Knizhnica archive, an online library of late Soviet samizdat books.
