Photography's been a side addiction since I was in middle school. I've gone from my first film point and shoot to learning the basics of Black & White with a wonderful Canon SLR (film). Bought myself my first digital point and shoot in 2003 and have since been lost in the world of digital superfluousness...

I've found my way back to my film SLR on a few occasions in the past year, but not as much as I'd like. The patience, care, and set-up that it takes to shoot film is something I miss.

This site began for me as a way to share pictures from my 2006 study abroad experience in France and subsequent 2 1/2 month trek around Europe. Since then, it has come to be the repository for much of the images I've captured since then. It's not carefully culled. One of these days perhaps I'll start an account for just the good ones, but as it is, this is a lovely way to share images with friends and family.
