I have been an amateur photographer since c. 2008 (with a few periods of inactivity sandwiched in). I enjoy both film and digital photography, but these days I mainly shoot with a digital camera for the convenience! I still love and use my trusty Panasonic Lumix GX7 and Nikon FM, but have recently started to use my Nikon Z FC more. It pairs wonderfully with my Nikkor 50mm f1.8 AIS and Helios-44M-4 58mm f2 lenses. Although I prefer digital for the inconvenience, I much prefer older manual lenses for a more tactile photography experience; the best of both worlds!

My favourite subjects are flowers and cemeteries, although I started out shooting street photography around London with a Nikon D40 (sadly most of those early photos have been lost). I prefer colour film, but I enjoy shooting black and white occasionally, and even learned to develop my own b&w film back in September 2019 before pretty much abandoning photography for 3 years shortly after.

In 2024, I want to fall in love with photography again and just enjoy it, without worrying whether I'm getting enough likes or views on my content. So, expect regular, but infrequent, updates :)
