Hi, I'm Melissa.

I'm originally from Texas but I fell in love with San Diego, CA so I decided to make it my new home. I have lived in the area since 2008 and the people and neighborhoods always surprise me with the great way they interact and live.

I have always had a passion for photography, but it was when I traveled around the world while in the military that I truly came to appreciate the greatness of a photo and the memories they preserve.

With this in mind I decided to take my photography to the next level and studied at San Diego City Community College in their Photography Program. I learned not only the technical side of photography, but it inspired my creative side.

I love to be outdoors letting nature show me the beauty around me.
