My name is Willi Van Boven and I am an amateur photographer. I started photographing in 1997 when I bought an AGFA EPhoto 1680. This was in the early days of digital photography. Afterwards I switched to an Olympus. After using for several years this camera I bought my first Canon, a Powershot A640, and I was sold to Canon. The colors, sharpness, contrast and effects that Canon offers are fantastic. This came even more to its right when I bought my Canon EOS 450D. The pictures on this photofolio are with non or minimal editing in Adobe Photoshop, Aperture or any other editing program. I try to take them in a natural environment which sometimes causes precarious situations. All these categorized pictures are taken on the most diverse places and all over the world.
