Simya Movement Atelier is an independent arts studio established in Istanbul, with an ever growing network of dancers, artists, photographers, directors, musicians, art students both from Turkey and around the world. As the founders of the atelier, we have the main aim of improving the level and standard of contemporary arts in Turkey; getting more people engage in arts each day; as well as acting as a bridge between East and West with a new, integrated vision, which is based on continuous and multidisciplinary research. With this aim, Simya Movement Atelier offers classes, workshops, seminars on different techniques, at various levels and present its new performance projects all around the world. The Atelier also acts as a location sponsor and a training provider for particular independent theaters in Turkey.

By telling people ‘don’t be just an audience to arts, live it!’, we invite them to experience the innovative and healing effect of art. In order to reach and inform people from every part of the society and create a raising awareness, we are carrying out intensive studies including the organization of events and seminars, in cooperation with the related institutions and press.

In our events, we explain the effects of contemporary world both on our body and our emotional world, and invite people for a journey to the Nature and to their body, which represent their own nature.

Simya Movement Atelier develops and offers various programs to build body – mind balance. During lessons, elegant body work is presented together with mental focusing exercises; which aims at maintaining motivation to attain development.
