Preamble

I promise, I have uploaded better photos than what you might see on the first page of my photostream. All of my photos are in sets (now called albums). You can see my sets/albums here.

Me

I am MedEighty. I like taking photos and dislike touching them up afterwards. To me, a photograph that has been touched-up is not a photograph. It's a cartoon. And, unfortunately, there are more cartoons on this site than genuine photos. All of my photos here are simply re-sized originals.

My Camera

My current camera is a Panasonic DCM-FZ1000. I used to have a DCM-FZ50 and, before that, a Ricoh RDC-6000.

I use my mobile phone to take photos of whatever I want to remember at times when I don't have my camera with me. I used to have a Sony Ericsson K800i, then a Sony Ericsson C905, and then a Samsung Galaxy S II. I now have a Samsung Galaxy S 6. Most of the photos in my Randoms set have been taken by a phone.
