A London-based artist, Meara is currently studying at Ravensbourne for a BA(hons) degree in Digital Photography. Originally from the Netherlands, she moved to England in 1999 and became interested in photography shortly afterwards when her father bought her a small digital camera. Her practise became serious when she chose to study A level photography, achieved an A* and in that realised that this was the path for her.

She draws her inspiration from the artistic practises of Ansel Adams, William Klein, Jack Vettriano, among others.

Influenced primarily by travelling and culture, her work varies from landscapes and reportage to studio portraiture.
