I grew up in Southern California, but presently reside in west-central Wisconsin, north of the La Crosse-Onalaska area. My husband has retired from the Army; but because he was in the military, we had to move every 3-5 years. This certainly provided the opportunity of capturing many different sights behind the camera! I am a wife, a mother of 3 grown children, and a grandmother of 10 beautiful grandchildren! :)

If you have leafed through my photostream, you have found I focus most of my attention on things in nature. There is so much beauty we can enjoy. Life is too short not to enjoy the simple pleasures! In particular, my passion lies in sunsets and flowers. I also enjoy an occasional barn or two, when I get the chance. Having lived in Wisconsin for a while, I guess the country side of me likes to come out!

I have been a member of Flickr for over 10 years now. I am amazed at the talent I have found...so many wonderful photos I have admired and enjoyed. All I can say is, thank you for what you have taught me. I hope I have learned much, and continue to progress in my abilities.
