I'm qualified in electronic engineering - associated physics subjects overlapped photography, including optical characteristics of lens design and image processing.

I began photography with a basic 110 cartridge film camera from Boots - a Christmas present from my aunt circa 1979.

I progressed through various film formats before digital eventually prevailed. My final 35mm film camera was the Canon EOS 1000Fn in the early 1990's.

I currently use the Canon EOS 500D (T1i) I prefer landscape photography but I'm always willing to make an exception if the subject grabs my attention.

I retain copyright of all images available via my Flickr account and other sources unless an explicit licence exists. Please contact me if you desire permission to use any image for publication, duplication, distribution or display via any medium. I'm flexible regarding terms of use depending on the intended purpose.
