Mark Cox's foray into photography began in college when he was influenced by a friend and award-winning photographer, Louis Ouzer. Twenty years later, with much support from his wife and family, he started working seriously on his photography. Mark loves finding the ordinary and turning it into something special. He truly enjoys creating and experimenting in all forms of photography. He has been influenced by working with the best in music, writing, painting, and photography, and has had the unique experience of working in multiple arts at the highest levels. Mark competes internationally, and his photos have graced the front covers of magazines, hung in the Ella Sharp Museum (Jackson, MI), and are sold at Art Reach of Mid Michigan and Northwood Art Gallery (Midland). "I have always been told that I look at life differently than most people, and hopefully this is transferred through my lens to the viewer." Mark is a Getty Image Contributor.
