"The world is so full of a number of things..."
In my misspent youth I burned a hundred shots a day of tri-x and got paid for doing it. Then the children started arriving and I found myself working for a living and taking pictures of the kids and 'we were there pics.' I lamented that there was no way to show photos that might have some general interest or entertainment value. Then in Scotland trying to find a less intrusive way to send travel reports and photos to my friends I found flickr. Flickr has revived my interest in photography and given me an outlet for the off the wall photos that I like to take and comments that can go with them. You might notice that I don't take things too seriously usually. Up to now I have been shooting with a fine, but limiting little camera, a Sony Cybershot DSC T1 But my new Nikon D200 arrived yesterday and I am looking forward to posting images from it as soon as I can 'go to school' on the manuals. It ain't my old FTN.
