I'm consistently amazed at McMorr's photography...her captures of rural Iowa are something to behold, even if you don't know a thing about photography. Her pictures are aesthetically phenomenal and capture the spirit and essence of the past lives that have lived, learned, worked and died in the locations she has photographed. Her picture titles and captions are poetry as well...sometimes they make me think, sometimes they make me laugh; McMorr is bringing back Romanticism in a serious way!

It is very obvious that there is a labour of love of capturing images of the land upon where she lives. McMorr really captures the essence of "there's a lot of magic in my backyard". I honestly can't believe this woman doesn't have a testimonial yet!!! :O) I really don't give testimonials right off the bat after I've seen someone's photos, but I feel we are kindred spirits in a way. McMorr has that wicked eye for spotting the beauty in the old and decaying. She weaves these pieces of forgotten time into awesomeness!!! I love her photography, and she's gonna be my eyes in Iowa!!! I'm truly envious of what her dirt roads lead her to, big time!
