2013 BFA graduate of Shepherd University. I photograph nature, specifically insects. Many people don’t give much thought to insects unless they are invading their homes or bothering them during an outside activity. What is most interesting about insects to me as a photographer is all of the different patterns, textures, and colors. Capturing insects to see how they differ is what fueled me to start experimenting with photography that allows me to get up close and personal, otherwise known as macro photography.
