I keep this page around as a reminder of the progress I've made as a photographer. The work you see here is from the end of my high school career through my time at the Art Institute of Seattle.... The further back you go the funnier it gets. Yes, I was a high school girl once.

My name is Amanda.

 

I take pictures. I love Jesus. I take pictures because I love Jesus.

 

I graduated from the photography program at the Art Institute of Seattle in 2011.

 

I always heard that I could be anything I wanted when I was younger. I wanted to be a cat.

 

I have a slight obsession with sticky tack.

 

(I love the word parenthetical).

 

I have to imagine that semi trucks are Optimus Prime so I'm not afraid of them when I drive on the freeway.

 

I am a big fan of cheesy '80s action movies.

 

I like night more than day, but day also. I wish I didn't have to sleep so I could enjoy both.

 

I am available for photos of almost any kind, including weddings, engagements, boudoir, family, child / baby / pregnancy, senior / graduation, sporting events, and pets, but I am most interested in documentary photojournalistic band and concert photography. However, you name it, I'll probably shoot it.
