Melissa's work is powerful, enchanting, and professional. It was a pleasure and an honor getting her Maiko photography printed in our Okinawa Living magazine. In my honest opinion, it really made that issue. I look forward to the next photoessay from this talented young lady with the cool moniker. Cheers!

She has a eye for a great framing and I believe lately she was more able to catch the "good" light. One of my favorite on Flickr, for … Read more

Melissa is one of my favorite photographers on flickr, and I'm *honored* that I can be the first person to write her a testimonial. Online acquaintances by chance, friends and kindred spirits by choice. I am amazed and wowed every time I see her photographs from Kyoto and Cambodia, and highly impressed by the level of trust she gains from her subjects. I've watched her grow with leaps and bounds over the past several months and I couldn't be more excited to see where this talented photographer's path takes her. I'm hoping that one of these days fate will place us in the same place and I'll get to see that *magic* firsthand. Thank you for touching my life, mboogiedown!
