Hi,

my Name is Marco Bittel and I live in the beautiful Schwarzwald (Black Forest) in the south of Germany.

I started taking photographs when I was a kid and bought my first SLR-Camera when I was 12 years old, a Minolta 7000. Years later I used Mamiya medium format cameras like the RZ67 and developed the pictures in my own Black- and White Lab. I also experienced with taking infrared-pictures like the Kodak HIE film. When the good old analog world with all the chemicals and films and stuff was replaced by the digital revolution i stopped taking pictures for several years. I never liked the idea to sit for hours before a computer instead working in the lab...

I like to be in the nature and so i mostly take landscape pictures.

Equipment:

I use a Olympus om-d e-m10 camera, which is extremly lightweight and small and has a very good picture quality for its size.

I also use a Nikon D810 mostly whith a Samyang 14mm /2.8 lens.
