Engineer, inventor, and student of entropy. I’m interested in information, thermodynamics, feedback systems, and the occasional problem conventional physics considers settled. Photography is mostly another way of sorting information: light from dark, signal from noise, what gets through from what doesn’t. I photograph machines, infrastructure, overlooked systems, and evidence that order sometimes appears where nobody thought to look for it. I’ve built a few devices of my own. Their success depends somewhat on the observer.
