Amateur astronomer since 1999. For the first few years, I observed using only the naked eye and binoculars. For about 15 years (with many long breaks), my main instrument was a 114mm f/8 Newtonian. Later, I transitioned to a 1977 orange Celestron C8 (203mm f/10 Schmidt-Cassegrain) along with a few smaller telescopes. I currently use a CPC 8 XLT.
