Hi. I am new to flickr and quite new to photography!! I have recently become addicted to photography and particularly love nature and macro photography! Thought I'd give this site a try as it was recommended to me by a friend. Please leave comments as I really appreciate feedback. Being a relative beginner, I also want constructive criticism!! Well I am now fully addicted to both photography and Flickr!!!! I am totally passionate about my photography and so very happy with all the comments and feedback I receive here on Flickr. Recently updated to a DSLR which is my 'new baby' and even though I don't know how to use it on many settings or even to change them, I love its potential!!! I've spent way too much money on camera and lenses but hey!!!! I went to visit a local well-known photographer's exhibition and I was very happy with my own photos afterwards!!! His were almost as good as mine!! Only bigger!!!! LOL

I believe that having the passion for photography is the biggest step already overcome. After that probably luck and technique. An awful lot of luck as far as bird photography is concerned!!! Also, I get lost a lot chasing sunsets!!! I have a terrible sense of direction after dark!!! It's worth it though! ;-))

Getting a great photo is such an adrenaline rush for me. Really thrilling!!! Makes me feel young. Not that I'm old!!!! LOL
