I am a fine art photographer, motivated to create original images. My images are self portraits and created by altering pixels in Photoshop. I am influenced by surrealism and romanticism styles of art. I am also inspired by Brooke Shaden's work. I found photography at age 58. I did workshops, courses in fine art photography, used a large format vintage camera and spent time in a darkroom. I got a digital camera and took landscape, macro and abstract shots. Each type of photography drove me to learn. Photoshop and photo manipulation is an art form limited by my imagination and curiosity. My work has elements of nature, symbols of change, and messages of aging gracefully. My work, “Altered Pixels” shows how I combine all three elements.
