Photography and graphic design has been a something that, quite literally, I do to keep awake. As with many other parents out there, I work two jobs to make ends meet. One of mine is a graveyard shift. A few years ago, I bought an inexpensive Fuji digital camera and Adobe Elements to have a little more control over the photos of my family and friends. I find that in the early hours of the morning when I get really tired, I can fuss with pictures and will become awake and inspired—so I guess that it’s a little more than a casual hobby for me. I enjoy the creative atmosphere and collaborative nature on Flickr, a rare place where each time you log on you learn something new or see something in a different way.
