Photography is my hobby - or more a passion, if you know what I mean. I´ve started in the age of 6 in 1971 with a cheap camera, an Agfa ISO-Pak C. Only a few years later, it must be approximately in the year 1977, i got my first SLR - a Voigtländer VSL 1 with a 50 mm lens. Years later, it must be 1996, I started with my first Nikon, a F90x - a wonderful camera, but my last analog.

 

With this wonderful cam I shot one of my best pictures ever, a lion in Simbabwe:

 

 

I love the blur in this pic, that shows the hunter in his move.

 

The next DSLR - of course a Nikon again - was my first digital too: A Nikon D70s. Great cam too. Here´s one of my shots with it:

 

 

The following years I was only interested into movies. That´s the reason why I bought my first MFT, a Lumix GF1, followed by a GX1 and then the GX8. I made much more than 100 movies - and this is very different to photography and much more difficult I think. I still do it, but I needed something for "every day" again .. back to photography too since 2015.

 

It was great, when I bought my first old (Helios 44) lens and I saw, what I am able to do with it! It became an addiction! I haven´t count all my lenses ... a lot of it.

 

Now I have a Nikon - only for photos - again, the D810. A great one I really like. I wanted a full frame too.

 

Since October 2018 I have a D500 too ... specially for wildlife. Great cam!

 

I´m not interested in only one special style of photography. So you will find in my account very different pics..
